The forthcoming is the culture of Alföld” – this is what György Szabados used to keep saying. We are just having in our hands one of the materializations of it - in the ethered realm of music. This is a kind of sounding note-book of two southerner: an Hungarian violist and a Slovakian bassist. After the periods of playing together and of maturation (firstly, in trio-formation), this duet, now, is a real bending towards each other, a double pillar – in one and the same spirit. This is not overstatement: experiences and the universality reveal them self and addresses highly the people of our days. That is, the lowland culture, with the taste of its own many-threaded string, and – above all – wonderful weight of receptive spaciousness.
